that's a good album, although I still prefer Fevers & Mirrors, even though it features some annoying stuff, like when they go during the next to last song, which is up to that point nothing less but brilliant, into a (fake?) interview with Oberst, which is rather overpositive (and putting such a thing on your record seems rather arrogant) and it's accompanied by a horrible sound.

Well that's a good decision. I especially like the song called Dear God Please Help Me.

I haven't heard Fevers & Mirrors, only Wide Awake, It's Morning, and Lifted (etc., etc., etc.)

Having just listened to the new song, I have to say I enjoy it immensely. I'd never heard any Morrissey, just The Smiths.

that album is rather melancholic, indiepop mixed with a little electronica or something like that, really beautiful... their next album on the other was more electro, like Goldfrapp & co, it still features a few very good songs (the rest are really bad), but I don't feel as much for them as for the first album.
Animal Collective is rather weird folkmusic, they do loops of their own voices & stuff. I've only heard Sung Tongs, which I like quite a bit, it's really joyful stuff, I think.
Architecture in Helsinki might also be something for you. They are often compared to Arcade Fire, but I like them a lot more. They're from Australia by the way... whatever their name might suggest.

Speaking of bands using names for places they aren't from: Of Montreal is really good 60s psychedelia stuff. If you liked Sgt. Pepper's Beatles, you'd like Of Montreal.
Yeah, I suppose you could call Animal Collective bizarre folk, which would explain my current infatuation with the likes of Banhart.

Hmm...I'll check them out next weekend I think. Animal Collective sounds also interesting.
By the way...I really don't understand what's so special about architecture in Helsinki. I mentioned them earlier too. I like them.
