That is kind of weird that it's stupid to you. I mean, he did name the song after... uh... you know the words in the song.
Would you rather he have named it "Lots of Sexual References and Then I Talk About Anne Frank and Freezing Siamese Twins" ?

I've heard We Are Scientists, not a big fan.
I'll look out for those other guys.

In the end, what we have are these little, great moments. They come and they go. That's as good as it gets. But, still, isn't that great?

You should listen to songs like Holland 1945, King of Carrot Flowers(the part which doesn't have the jesus christ bit), Song Against Sex etc... I'm pretty sure you'd like those.

I listened to the whole of In the Aeroplane... once some time ago and I didn't like it, I believe most of those songs are on that album...
Oh and Simeon, check the Shins, Simian's Chemistry Is What You Are, Grandaddy, Zita Swoon, Mirah, Decemberists, Cat Power (best start with You Are Free) if you don't know those already.
And last.fm (audioscrobbler) is a useful tool if you want to learn about new stuff you might like.

Check out Bright Eyes also. I used to hate the idea of him because he is labelled as being emo, but his stuff is really good, especially the stuff from I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning.
