EP is great, reminds me more of their first album, Gallowsbird's Bark. Gallowsbird's Bark is the best place to start for newbies on this band; it's a much easier listen than Blueberry Boat as the songs are shorter and more melodic.

Speaking of EP... Is it really an EP or is it a full-length entitled "EP". It's a lot longer than than many full-lengths. I've got Gallowsbird's Bark, Blueberry Boat, and EP, but I heard that EP might actually be a collection of B sides? I don't know much about them other than what I hear on the records. Anyone know EP's story?

It is some b sides and other some new mixes of some of their older songs. You can't really call it a true ep,as it's 40 some odd mins. in length and has 10 songs.

my favourite indie band at the mo is probably the arctic monkeys, although i'm almost completely dissolutioned with indie 'the' bands in general, just because i'm now beginning to lose the ability to distinguish between bands like the rakes and the cribs etc.

Kevin Shields is amazing, too bad he's doing so little these days. The last thing I heard was the 'Lost in Translation' soundtrack, which was incredible. Coppola even threw 'Sometimes' from Loveless on the soundtrack, along with the original stuff that Shields wrote...
