hmmm...

I would say that my fav indie bands would be...

Pinback- Loro, Anti-Hu (incredible), Crutch (again, very nice) and Penelope. A very interesting band worth whatever time it takes you to check them out...

Electric President- really nice band, with interesting lyrics and musical points, with interesting music. Again worth checking out.

Broken Social Scene- VERY cool band, almost everything is good .
Perhaps one reason for their amazing musical skills is the fact that the size of their band is enormous! Theres over (maybe even way over) 10 people in it (i really just saw a picture, didnt count the faces ;-)

Beirut is a great band. Everyone should check out their Lon Gisland EP.

I agree wholeheartedly. I was so ecstatic the day I discovered Lon Gisland.

How about Gulag Orkestar? Is that one any good?

In the end, what we have are these little, great moments. They come and they go. That's as good as it gets. But, still, isn't that great?

It's good, but it's quite different, much more eastern european.

Well, I have them both now and I like them very much. I like the Gulag Orkestar as a whole and I think Elephant Gun is an amazing song.
