ripping cds

hi, if i rip music from my cd (using windows media player) will they get deleted from the cd and get sent to my pc?

when a (standard) cd is burnt, it's impossible to change the datas then.

I really want to believe that this dude is joking. However, I work with interns and they usually have the same type of dumb questions.

This time a girl told me that the computer she was working on crashed and that all of her tracks she had on Acid disappeared. When I went to check the problem, I realized she had just minimized the window. I still wonder how she was able to open the application and import files from the server.

She entered the twilight zone...
