Squarepusher...
I've always been a fan of ole Tommy's, but it seems he's lost his edge, or just doesnt' give a damn anymore...hopefully he'll come out with something the latter part of this year, or early part of next year, I miss the good ole days

my favorite tune from him is Problem Child and Big Loada(Oval Remix). u have any recommandations that sound like those 2 tracks???
recently, I downloaded Love will tear us Apart, which is horrible, Port Rhombus, Dedicated Loop, and Deep Fried Pizza, which are okay.
I agree that he totally went limp and is in need of viagra or something. My Red Hot Car is enjoyable but lack the energy to hype me up.

i really enjoy his older/jazzier stuff... like the hard normal daddy album... i think i'd say beep street / come on my selector / squarepusher theme would be my favorite tracks from what i've heard... i didn't really like the go plastic album that much aside from a few tracks (like my red hot car... and it still doesn't compare)
a friend of mine picked up the latest album when it came out... the only tracks i remember really enjoying were the ones that sounded like a remix of his older stuff... i don't remember specific names but i know at least one song sounded way too similar to something from hard normal daddy...

Hard Normal Daddy and the Burningn'n Tree compilation cd are his two jazzier cd's, along with his avant garde jazz album "Music is rotted One Note" which are great, hmm...do I have recommendations about that? just try the whole Hard Normal Daddy CD, that's what Port Rhombus is on anyway

man. Maximum Priest Ep is also a really good small put-out album by square. decent tracks from hell like "you're goin down" and some sweet remixes. even wagon christ pulled a good remix ..(it seems like the only good shit he pulls out is remixes)....as far as his new stuff goes. i feel that he's losing all the jazz roots. he jumped too far into the electronica and lost all hold of what he had that was so interesting. i mean...if i wanted to hear random sounds and squeels, i'd hook up all my god damn synths into one distorted mess....with a distortion petal on the final out and pass out on one key....then continue to drool
yep.

GO Spastic is great. I like Squarepusher that is like My red Hot Car, RDJ steezo , u-ziq. He hangs with Richie, so he ends up biting his shit off. Do you know squarepusher is alright, plus the live cd is good minus all the irrelevant japanese fans screaming

i thought the live cd was awful, hell, I heard 2 cuts off the live cd that was on Do you Know Squarepusher? and the live album was recorded over a year before the album was released...I love Tommy, but c'mon, it just goes to show that he didn't work too hard on this album, especially since there weren't that many tracks, plus just a few other new songs. "Kill Robok" is probably my fave off that album, along with the title track.

why is japanese fans screaming not irrelevant? I think it is pretty relevant that his music is universal enough to cross the cultural line and get embraced by japanese fans.
yeah, live albums do seem like a cash cow sometimes if there is not much rare/special materials on an live album.
"he didn't work too hard on this album"
