The problem with this thread, is that I am not sure what would be considered obscure to people around here.

For example for many around here groups like Ange or Eloy, might be really obscure; however, most likely not to you or Syd.

I'd be interested to hear your opinion of the Aksak Maboul recording above.

If you like that, you're going to love Un Peu de L'Ame des Bandits, which I prefer of the two.

You're right though, I'd been putting that one off--I figured I'd give them a chance without hearing the musicians I was already familiar with when I got it. You know, no expectations.
