I love industrial! I do like some Ministry, NIN, KMFDM, etc. but I prefer groups like Einsturzende Neubauten, Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Nurse With Wound, and the like.
That being said, there are already a few threads on the new NIN album (none of which I have contributed to because I haven't bothered with checking out the album, but I amy eventually).

I initially liked the Metropolis oonce oonce school of industrial, but have since found my way to the more interesting stuff such as Coil, Neubauten, Nurse with Wound, Zoviet France, and the like.

I like Einstürzende Neubauten very much, haven't heard much of the other stuff, but will do that someday surely.

Ten vital industrial albums, alphabetically:
cabaret voltaire - red mecca
clock dva - buried dreams
coil - scatology
einstürzende neubauten - kollaps
front 242 - geography
kraftwerk - trans-europe express
laibach - opus dei
nitzer ebb - that total age
skinny puppy - VIVIsectVI
throbbing gristle - 20 jazz funk greats
As much as I would have liked to include the likes of Current 93, Nurse with Wound, Death in June, Sol Invictus, Legendary Pink Dots, I do not think it provides a truly good representation of so-called "industrial" music.

No! Please don't let my crap scare you away from the genre.
By the way, does anyone know some good industrial metal? I like alot of it already, I'm looking for more especially because of my recent rediscovery of Godflesh's "Hymns" album.
Nice list Twoplow .
