After how nutty they got with EP7 and Confield, I think I only listened to it once and then marked it off as more of the same. Should I check it out again?

I actually am starting to like Untilted (Iera and Sublimit are sex) just as much as Confield. It reminds me alot of Draft, moreso than any of the other albums it sounds like.

Chiastic Slide remains as one of the greatest album covers that i have seen, but getting back to your question of thoughts; Chiastic Slide really begins to bring forth those swinging elements heard on Confield with Cfern. they start to layer in a jazz-like fashion, especially with Tewe and the incredible opener, Cipater.

as it was said earlier it sounds organic. it breathes and churns a bit more than Tri-Rep. meaning, the sounds are a bit edgier, grittier and heavier. Chiastic Slide is something i think you will like because of these elements. there is also a great minimal track on there that i think you will find similar to Tri-Rep's Overand. i think it was titled Pule, but im not sure (i have even had to look on Discogs!).

of course people will mention Cichli and how beautiful it is, and i somewhat agree. but i think Cipater is probably the greatest on the album. Tewe is out of this world, it shapeshifts all over the place; Hub frusterated me for a while, but i now realize what they were doing with it..i think; and Rettic AC is powerful, even though it is basically a sound scape. these are a few that i recall that stood out to me.

otherwise, do check the Cichlisuite, as well as Envane. i find Envane's sounds to be similar in nature, but much different in structure of course. enjoy it.

Thanks autpt, perfect. Cipater is one of the samples i listened to and it sold me. I also, checked out Envane, which i hope to get my hands on soon.
