I hate to be superficial, the the SWR gear is covered with this stupid carpeting and it's very heavy. Of course, I wouldn't mind having an SWR rig around, too.

I've been looking for ways to cut down on gear. When you're playing 3-4 nights a week, you're whole outlook on gear changes.

The Ampeg cabinets have a "dirtier" tone. It's easy to get this crunching sound from my bass with the Ampeg stuff.

If you want purity and richness and all that's fluffy and nice I'd go with an SWR.

I like overdriven sounding gear, though.

Yeah, as far as anything expensive or vintage...that stuff stays at the house.

What, you mean this isn't your main hangout?

Don't even get me started on what is involved in shipping those pianos. I swear, sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I didn't come from a military background.

Hey, I know other instrumentalists have it worse, but I still like to travel as light as I can. If only I had some roadies!

Yeah, I've been bored with Radiomute...when Satch and Seba leave, it gets pretty quiet in the couple threads I haunt.

That's why I have been sticking to combo's. Most of the places I play in a 15' combo works fine. If I really need to I can split the signal and plug in the other combo. Less is best.

Not much really, just a MIDI heyboard, a Baritone, and a trombone. Plus an accordian. I badly want an electric guitar.
