hollow body guitars
In terms of timbre, whats the difference between hollow body and solid guitars? Ive never played a hollow body before so yea. Also, can it be played without being plugged in?? that would be awesome.

hollow bodies have a 'rounder' sound closer to that of an acoustic solid body guitars would have more twang. as for playing it without being plugged in (i'm guessing you mean similar to an acoustic) it wouldn't be as loud but it definitely projects more sound than a typical solid body guitar.
