By chance, were you sitting in front of a mirror when you came up with this hilarious post? I will say it again, you’re good for laughs. Of course, it’s the laughing at you variety, and not the laughing with you kind.

It always amazes me, that someone like you thinks they’re going to actually get me upset. You’re just one of many on this board, although, your insults are the most pathetic attempts, so far. You're really going to have work on your insults. That's if you really are 28, as you claim. Honestly, I don't think many really believe that.

Simply put, is that really the best you can come up with?

If you want to keep sending me even more pathetic attempts at insults by email; I am always ready for another laugh.

Robert Johnson
Charley Patton
Son House
Son Simms Four (with Muddy Waters)
Muddy Waters (pre-Chicago)
BB King (pre-1970)
Skip James
Blind Willie Johnson
Elmore James
Howlin' Wolf
Sonny Boy Williamson
Jelly Roll Morton
Mississippi John Hurt
Willie Dixon
John Lee Hooker
-and so on.

Other good Blues artists you've probably never heard of - and probabaly never will again:
WC Handy
Memphis Jug Band
Lightnin' Hopkins
Big Bill Broonzy
Humphrey Lyttelton
Ray Charles (I know you knoy Ray, but have you heard the Genius play some mean, dirty Blues?)
Jimmy Yancy
Pinetop Perkins
Salif Keita
-and so on.

Here are some that are not too appealing, or down right suck:
Stevie Ray Vaughn (the Cock Rocker of Blues. Get the fuck outta town)
Bobby Bland
Billie Holiday (she did play Blues, but in the stylings of jazz. sorry, ladies)
The Bad Blues Band (yeah, no shit)
Keb' Mo'

That's all I got for now.

interesting You listed absolutely no female vocalists on your good blues list. Is that saying you think women are bad blues artists?

Don't attack him just like that! Sheesh! I'm sure the Zola knows a lot of female blues, he's the blues man!

anyway, I'll mention a few just for you! You could have done it yourself though....

Bessie smith
Ethel Waters
Peggy Lee

and some blues that wasn't added yet.

Some work songs, by alan and John Lomax. I remember that gooze had the ambum, and moby stole a lot music from it, the shithole. (pardon my language )

Etta James is my favourite female artist of any genre. Forgot to mention her. Thanks for the remind.

Sorry, I stand by my Billie Holiday statement...
