Alright, so what do you actualy want as far as music goes apart from being electronic?

Do you want fast music with big beats and a down kind of feeling about it or more kind of bassy type of music?

are you the same guy who asked for song suggestion in another thread???

action and gun fire eh? hmmm I would go slow on those kind of action scenes, it just seems more dramatic that way with the frantic actions. I don't know... I like to know more about the animation before giving you suggestions mindlessly.

depending on the editing software used it's not as complex as it sounds... especially if all the editing is done digitally... and within the same prog

just mark the peaks in the music where you want certain actions to take place then you have to alter the pacing of the film to fit... you can grab a section of video and alter the time it takes to display the frames so that the action and music sync... mind you this only works when there isn't any dialog...

well, the quality may not be as good if you slow down or speed up the footage to fit the music. but if you have enough shots from different angles/close ups/middle shots/long shots, you can just cut them to fit the beats, that may be a better solution.

true... but a lot of it has to do with the style and medium of the film... animated and action/gun fire are pretty vague... is it traditional animation... digital... color... b&w... and as far as gun fire / action go... it could be anything from an old western to aliens...

u know, I have a feeling we would never find out from f|ickity.

but if you like animation, do check out Tetsuo The Iron Man(the black and white one). it got a great industrial-ish soundtrack and awesome stop-motion animations.
