odd songs

this may be a lame thread, but ever have one of those songs that just pop out of nowhere and grab you?

my personal example:

memorabilia - nine inch nails

what an amazing cover . i hated it at first and now it's a classic to me...but it's so....not nine inch nails. if you haven't heard this one yet, check out the closer to god single.

Check out the Pig cover of Nine Inch Nails' Head Like A Hole. It's terrifying. It's fantastic.

Ladytron's Playgirl, Aphex Twin's Windowlicker, and µ-ziq's Carpet Muncher. Goofy songs all three, but I do enjoy them. Especially those last two, which have a lot going for them, aside from sounding silly.

yes, i like that track a lot too...but i'm quite the fan of DMX Krew, so i guess i'm biased.

the mention of carpet muncher made me remember that i like tusken raiders - pansy. i still don't understand why i like that track, but i think it brings back good memories of dancing to duuurty jungle deep in a stinky basement of an underground back in the day.
