The new Coldplay
Havent seen anything about this, so i thought i'd post it.... I'm not the biggest coldplay fan in the world, but am i the only one who thinks their new single sounds suprisingly like clocks? maybe its just because its got that coldplay sound to it, but i dunno, the first time i heard it come on the radio, i thought it was clocks.
anyone else or is it just me?
K.

I'd really screwed up by buying Rush of Cold Blood.. without hearing a single Coldplay song; it had just a couple of decent songs(title track and Green Eyes). Coldplay bore me.

Only heard Speed of Sound so far. I rather like it. Generally I like Coldplay a lot. I can't wait to hear the entire album.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the piano part in Clocks always sounded a lot like that little intro on piano from Queen's Death On Two Legs (Dedicated To...), at least to me

I've commented about this everywhere else so I'll say it again. "Speed of Sound" is a decent single. Not so gay sounding as "Clocks". Still, it's just Chris sitting on his ass at the piano. I just hope there's a few more tracks with an acoustic guitar or at least chords.

both "Clocks" and "Speed Of Sound" are more than juste decent- theyre great singles. imean, if you cant see those songs as anything more than decent than you really shouldnt bother being a fan of Coldplay [and iseem to remember that you are].
