Hey, if Nelly's there then Meredith also deserves a mention

I'd add After Forever's Decipher and Shivaree's Rough Dreams.

Plus Arch Enemy's Burning Bridges should get a mention for novelty(or maybe it isn't that unique anyway )

Nelly Furtado is actually pretty good for that genre of music. we should add her last, Folklore, album as its pretty solid. pretty well are of her singles are quaility pop songs.

250+ lists are pointless. They are a common occurence on this forum.

For example:

Quote:
New Guy: Hey can you recommend me some good alt. rock?

RM Person: SURE!

Band 1
Band 2
Band 3
Band 4
Band 5
Band 6
Band 7
Band 8
Band 9
Band 10
Band 11
Band 12
Band 13
Band 14
Band 15
Band 16
Band 17
Band 18
Band 19
Band 20
Band 21
Band 22
Band 23
Band 24
No one is going to read it, let alone interpret it.
Just bothered me for a while and I had to let it out somewhere.

Proceed.

Nelly Furtado isn't pretty and doesn't have good music either; I hate to see her face when I'm flipping through the channels.

yure wrong on both accounts. idont even know why yude deny her looks- that is beyond arguement, even if shes not exactly your type.

No list about female vocalists in a rock music forum is complete without Grace Slick being mentioned,, and I would add the album "Cheap Thrills" by Big Brother featuring Janis Joplin...

I know I really forget a lot great albums
however, argue about Nelly Furtado doesn't make any senses. She is good but she can not be everybody's cup of coffee because everybody has different taste
by the way, don't you think Nelly looks like (a little bit) the Monica Geller in "Friends"?

I might get shot by saying this but:

I really like Gwen Stefani's unique spin on all of the good (and bad) things she's done with No Doubt AND solo.

I know that she may not be the best thing for the pop music industry in the present, but I think overall she's been a fascinating female artist to watch evolve.

Anyone else think so?

[I also think shes one of the most attractive musicians out there ]
