Ween, Brian Eno and Frank Zappa are artists that have failed to interest me, though that may be due to the fact that I am listening to all the wrong songs...

I would hope so!
As three of my favorite musicians, I'd post some recommendations, but I have about a weeks worth of work to do before 3pm today, and that's running on no sleep from yesterday.
I'll make a list at some point, assuming I make it to Wednesday.

I think I'll save Seba just a bit of time by recommending that you give Brian Eno's album "Before and After Science" a couple of listens. Also give Roxy Music's first two albums a try too, they have a lot of "Eno-isms".
...add Zappa's "Absolutely Free", Ween's "Chocolate And Cheese", and substitute "Another Green World" for "Before And After Science". Anything from those albums should do well to introduce you to, and hopefully hook you on, the music of those three musicains.
