Oh man, I fucking love theme songs!
Soul Bossa Nova by Quincy Jones (Austin Powers theme)
Ironside by Quincy Jones (Kill Bill)
Theme From Shaft by Isaac Hayes
Gonna Fly Now by Bill Conti (from Rocky)
Psycho Theme by Bernard Herrman
Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.
The whole Requiem for a Dream Soundtrack - Clint Mansell
Star Wars Imperial March (Rage Remix)
Knight Rider Theme

I don't watch a lot a tv and I don't remember any themes from when I was younger. But I like The L word's theme I can have it in my head for the whole week long.

I haven't read movie also. Then like MuZiK~JuNkEE said, Requiem for a Dream is very good. Or Lola Rennt's theme too is good.
