Ibanez acoustics: a good idea?

Is it worth investing in an Ibanez? I'm looking for a sturdy acoustic, something that will last. Secondary traits to look for are responsiveness and if it looks badass.

Clearly I have no idea what i'm doing, if anyone could lend advice...

I wouldn't recommend Ibanez for acoustics, they have a great reputation in the electric and bass market, but acoustics are a fiar bit different.
Do any acoustics look badass??

I'm going to say your best bet for a good, sturdy, long lasting acoustic guitar (unless you want classical) is a Martin. They are tad bit pricey but worth the money in every imagineable way.

The thing is, I've never heard one bad thing or good thing for that matter about Ibanez acoustics, only the electrics. If you can't get the Martin perhaps you should look into a high quality Yamaha (yes amazingly they exist), or a medium range Takamine.

Now, I'm not saying the Ibanez wouldn't be good, but as I said I've never heard of Ibanez acoustic until now. But for the best quality acoustic I'd go with a Martin if at all possible.
