Yeah baby - got Macca tickets!

I know he is past his prime but I am soooo stoked to see him. I got pretty solid tickets (3rd row) so I hope they are worth it. Anybody see him on his last tour a few years ago? I was living in Boston when he was there a few years ago but people were scalping the tickets for $500-$1000 each so there was no way I was going to cough up that kind of cash.

He's coming here. I'm sure it will be a huge sellout, if it isn't already.

I had some connections "back in the day" and sat fifth row for one of his concerts... It was great fun...

I've seen him a few times... All were fun shows...

Indeed it is.

I'm kicking myself for not buying the full 8 tickets allowed. The day after they went on sale, the tickets were going for about $300 ($175 face value plus about $15 in fees) which would mean a cool $100 profit per ticket. Doh! I didn't want to take the chance that it didn't sell out and I would have to eat 6 extra tickets.

My city just built a new arena and he was the first concert announced so I wasn't sure how much demand there would be considering he is playing in Chicago and Omaha as well. Rather than take a loss, I played it safe. Still, I can't wait to see him.
