Can audio CD player play SACD?

I am green, Could anyone tell me can normal audio cd player play SACD?
And what on earth SACD is?
I only know it is super audio CD
What is the difference?

Shouldn't have any problems playing it in any CD player. I don't really know what SACD entails exactly, but my copy of Dark Side of the Moon is an SACD with 5.1 audio. So, perhaps that is the only difference...it isn't JUST stereo, but can have more channels.

Really...Google should be able to help you with this...

Important from that site:
