You can't go wrong:

13 songs is a master piece
Steady Diet of nothing is more laid back with a less frantic groove
Repeater contains some of the bands best moments
In on the Kill Taker has more of a sonic youth noise fell to it fucking fantastic album
Red Medicine brilliant
End hits ditto
I have not got the argument but from what I have heard I should.

This band is in my top 5 live bands that I have ever seen. The energy and groove that they created in that tiny bowling club was fuckin mind blowing. Ian MacKaye is one powerful front man and Guy Picciotto compliments him perfectly.

They have a great idea about the corporatisation of the music industry and as such all ways play all ages shows (they don't think that the music should be tied to the sale of alcohol. Their cd's are all cheep if you spend over $15 for one your retalier is ripping you off. Their shows cost less than $10, they don't have merchandise like tee shirts etc etc.

It is a shame that the band is having a "break". The drummer is becomming a father and thus decided to leave the band. Unlike many bands who would just get a new member they believe that the band is all 4 members and if one leaves that is it. So even though MacKaye says it is a break he has kind of hinted that that is it for fugazi

The show I went to was a bit heavy on politics and light on music, unfortunately. It was a great deal at $5, and of course I expected the diatribes between songs. But they just never got on a roll at all. The real cost was $5 plus a couple hours of my time for less than an hour of music. That was back in the early 90's.

I cringe everytime Waiting Room comes up in my playlist. I'm no expert in this genre but I'd much rather listen to Wire than Fugazi(pardon me if that comparison makes no sense).

why don't you delete the song then?

I guess they're two postpunk (shitty genre name, okay)... they're both arty and somewhat political, though I never really made a connection between the two...

13 Songs is quite different from Argument though, but both are very good indeed
