Cool Rusted Root

Well, I did a search for Rusted Root and came up with zero threads for them, so I've now fixed that problem.

I used to love their sound back in my mid-teens, and still do to a certain extent, as long as we're talking about their early material. Their fusion of ethnic folk music with jam rock is very appealing to me -- especially the fantastic vocal compliment of Michael Glabicki and Liz Berlin, Glabicki's supurb acoustic/electric guitar stylings, their percussion section which at times can often reach five players, and of course, their unique songwriting. They also put on one hell of a live show.

Anyone else a fan? I really don't care for their recent material, but "Remember" is one of my favorite recordings from the 1990s; a perfect balance of concise songcraft and instrumental workouts, with what I feel to be their best material all around.

Yeah, I used to listen to Rusted Root all the time. I can't say I was a huge fan; I'm not even sure I kept up with their work all the way to Remember, but what I've heard had a really cool eclectic sound.
