Is anyone else here into this lot? I picked up their "Absence" album a few weeks back, and I've become completely addicted to it. Personally, I think it's easily one of the records of the year so far. Jazzy flourishes, vocals with a purpose, and a squall of gorgeous white noise backing it all up.

Anyone know if their "From Filthy Tongue of Gods and Griots" album is up to the same standard?

Dalek is actually one guy...did you happen to listen to his album with the kraut-rock group Faust? His electronic album with Kid606 is awesome as well.

I give 'mad props' to Dalek.

I've heard some of his Kid 606 tracks, but I'm a bit bored with the whole Tigerbeat 6 sound recently, I loved it at first, but it went cold pretty fast. I've heard one track from the Faust collaboration, I'd love to get that album, hell I need more Faust, full stop.

Mad Props.

I have "From the Filthy Tongues of Gods and Griots". Great album. He's one of my favorite rap artists now, I can't say I have heard much like this. I love it. The song titles are pretty cool too! I'll get Absence when I can as well.

I've got Absence now, I like it but I prefer From the Filthy Tongues of Gods and Griots.

I've only heard a couple singles: namely "Spiritual Healing" off the "Futurism Ain't Shit To Me" compilation and "Swollen Tongue Bums". I really enjoy "Spiritual healing" a lot, but I haven't looked into his other stuff at all
