From the straightfoward "acid jazzy" sort of standpoint, you can come across some similar ones...before I heard Tobin I was listening to the first Xploding Plastix album, Amateur Girlfriends Go Proskirt Agents. It isn't fair to either artist to say they are similar, but there is a similar vibe between this album and the Tobin stuff, and many of the songs take a similar approach to what Tobin does, notably on something like Permutation.

I really liked Xploding Plastix. (:

Probably one of the most creative electronic albums ever. Can't say the same for 'Insen' though. As much as I was hyped about getting 'Insen', it was so much a disappointment.

vrioon is one album that people will still appreciatte in 20 or 40 years.
