i am listening to plumb and plumber's organic feedback. if you like droning glitchyness with acoustic elements you will enjoy. it's for me one of the best albums of 2005.

NP: Dead Hollywood Stars - Smoke and Mirrors

Very nice e.p., not as glitchy or electronic as previous efforts, but a very beautiful album anyways. Some jazz influence in there with the country/electro of earlier DHS.

yeah, has the spaghetti western feel that the Snog albums sometimes show throughout. I like it.

You know I'm a fan of Black Lung but have never really listened to any of the Snog stuff, what's good by him/it?

Black Lung? I like 'The Disinformation Plague' and the 'Andenechron Incident Soundtrack' he did with Xingu Hill.

Andronechron Incident is a great album. Just picked up the new one, 'The Coming Dark Age', have not listened to it yet.

NP: Squaremeter - Frozen Spark

Best Squaremeter in a while, nice dark ambient melodies, very little percussion.

Oh, and I meant what's a good Snog release to check out, I'm pretty familiar w/ the Black Lung stuff...

yeah, looks like he's trying the beatless ambient style and he's quite good at it. I personally thought 'Aswad' was his best to date, but this one is quite good. I have to give it a few more listens. I still love his 'Low Profile Darkness' and 'Twisted Designz' albums as Panacea more or just as much.
