They rule, that's for sure. Have you heard John Scofield's "A Go Go"? It's just him with MMW as his back up band, quite good. (if you like Sco's guitar style that is)

sorry Bahar, I had to laugh. Is this your first Autechre purchase? If so, I apologize, but you made a terrible choice for an introduction into Autechre. If you're not use to their sound, by any means, checking their most inaccessible work is not always the best choice. If you were to try their earlier albums like Incunabula or Amber, or maybe even Tri Repetae, and worked yourself up to it, you may feel differently.

Did you happen to listen to samples anywhere before your purchase? Confield is good to many. It's not a great release in my point of view, but it's immaculate to some.

It grew on me, BIG TIME.

There's a strange beauty to the sounds. It's different, but I can appreciate it now, and I expect that's only going to develop the more I hear.

i have praised confield so much that i guess i owe you some of hat money.

the best introduction to autechre is GRANTZ GRAF you should now go and get it.
