Hey, there's something to be said for that Giant Peach water tower.
Yeah, any ideas where you're going to move when you're done with school?
I didn't expect to see these kind of concerts in Buffalo of all places!
Even in State College, PA I got to see the Emerson String Quartet play Verklärte Nacht and a piece by Hugo Wolf (the one without singing in it!) for $10.
They got that Ear Unit in L.A., though...one of the things that really make me want to move back.

Probably back to Delaware for a while unless something promising shapes up. Of course, there's also that long term goal of defecting.

As of this month, the only show I know of in my area is a dual headliner of the defunct Allman Bros. Band and Lynard Skynard.

I don't have time to really respond, but both Mats Gustafsson and Ken Vandermark play the Baritone. However, from your "OY" description, it was Gustafsson, with Vandermark on the clarinet.
Between the two, it's Gustafsson who has the serious chops.
Peace Out
For the old and new clueless wonders, that take the 3rd person posting serious and can’t seem to understand, that I am satirizing your idiotic image of me, Satchmo has left the building.
However, please continue the "love pms". They are at least good for a laugh; although let's try to be a bit more original.

Melt Bannana 06/06 Atlanta, GA Variety Playhouse
It really amazes me sometimes, how people can't make it to shows, just because it's not in their living room.
Ok, now Satchmo has really left the building.

I know...I'm being lazy. "The guy with the thing you blow air through..."
Gustafsson also played this other instrument (or part of an insrument)...none of us could figure it out. I was about two feet long and had a slide.
What do you call that effect where you make those percussive puffing sounds on brass instruments?

WooHoo! Part 3 will not consist of that whatsoever.

I haven't seen one personally, but did it look like one of these slide saxophones?

He does also play a Fluteophone, which is a flute with a sax mouth piece.

Well it depends on who you checked with? I took the information directly from Coleman's online site. Since I was planning on seeming him in Paris, I didn't check with Carnegie Hall.
http://www.harmolodic.com/ornette/
I just checked the Carnegie site, and it says the Rosmary Clooney tribute is canceled. It could be, that Ornette is a replacement for the Clooney tribute.
Did you call Carnegie and ask, or are you just going by the web site?
