why should i start listening to it? what makes it so much better than other rock?

i want some serious opinions from metal fans.

go to a cd store. pick up sabbath's paranoid album from the cheap bin (it's always in there). if you don't like it then you probably aren't gonna like much metal if any (ever). hehehe
