Worst bassist?

Who is the least pleasurable?

I'd like to nominate Michael Anthony of Van Halen. Bland as soda crackers.

Difficult to judge, for sure, but a couple that come to mind - Cliff Williams (AC/DC) and Adam Clayton (U2) - either of which might also be known as "the luckiest guy on planet earth".

That would be one Ringo Starr.

well, he's always been the member of Van Halen with the least popularity, although his solos are actually pretty decent surprisingly.

The thing is that he could really play, he just chose to do root notes so he could be the anchor while the other musicians went off on one.

which is perfectly okay. in fact, it's great.

but making an entire career of it? he could have strutted his stuff here and there.

Anthony has some moments. His work on 'Poundcake', 'You're No Good', and basically the entire Fair Warning album is very listenable. Good rock n' roll.
