"scatterbrain" is alright, but I don't like "backdrifts", "go to sleep" and "the gloaming"... rather tuneless all... though I usually appreciate HTT more than its two predecessors

My two favorites are actually OK Computer and Hail To The Theif. Although it wasn't until lately that I really enjoyed HTTT.I think Wolf At The Door is one of their better songs period, both on the album and overall.

Actually now that I think of it...there's something I like about every track on that CD. We Suck Young Blood is also a pretty good track that I don't think anyone's mentioned

radiohead is one of the few working bands that has never disappointed me. i don’t understand exactly what “overrated is supposed to prove, for this or any band. popular opinion doesn’t mean shit to me, nor should it to anyone. it's much more personal than that. who actually bases their tastes on other people, anyway? or a rolling stone article, or a web poll – it’s absurd. the music either moves you or it doesn’t.

i try to approach each new radiohead CD with a measure of objectivity, but they end up growing on me and being replayed again and again. i suppose my all-time favorite would be Ok Computer; but i like the evolution of their sound, and i hope that they never try to replicate it.

I agree that Kid A and Amnesiac go hand in hand. For me there are two different Radioheads, the Pablo Honey, Bends, and Ok Computer Radiohead, and the Kid A, Amnesiac, and HttT Radiohead. Both are great, but with very different sounds.
I agree (except for Pablo Honey.. , that album never really worked for me).

Even though they are very different, I think there really is a gradient of music across them. Listening to them in chronological order isn't really confusing and makes sense.

And I think every track on HttT is a solid piece of music. I was surprised that they had as much material to record as they did.

Overrated, indeed. They are good, however, in acting as something of a bridge between commercial rock and the more interesting music that is out there. Sort of like an "Alt-Lite" band.

I've never been a big radiohead fan. Although I really dont know too much of their stuff. Ive listened to the bends a few times, but I didnt really love it. I think Im gonna give them a second chance now though. Ill check back with details later.
