Does anybody remember this great band? I have almost all of their songs and DVDs.

To reply the original post, i honestly don't think anyone could forget AIC... undisputably one fo the greatest bands of the 90s, with one of the most enigmatic frontmen of that same era.
Like you, i have all their work, and i think my favourite is a toss up between Dirt and the Unplugged set they did on MTV.
my favourite tune? a toss up between either Would? or Nutshell.

Dirt is my favorite, and one of the more essential rock albums of the early 90's. Jar of Flies was the last thing I liked by them.

Pretty much all of their music is good, but if I had to choose my favorite song, I'd either choose "Love, Hate, Love" or "Fear the Voices".

I've got all the studio albums except for Sap. I wish the metalheads I know would listen to them, it would probably do them some good. I find Dirt too much a dirge, and the self-titled is my favourite of their albums. I'd say they rank 3rd in my top 3 artists.

alright i'll make a proper post now

alice in chains was definitely one of the greats in terms of 90s mainstream rock bands. stayley's vocal style is still being immitated today by countless others who can only hope to get close to his style. i also can't really think of any other band from that decade to use vocal harmonies so effectively.

as for my favorite AiC material i think i'd have to side with the 'jar of flies' EP.

Is their new CD any good?

EDIT - Nevermind, I'm a moron.

Anywho, awesome band. "Rooster" still gets quite a bit of playtime on my local rock station.
