As mentioned in a previous thread, great album. Very emotional.

Huh? Why are you being snarky, I wasn't. I was just stating what I had mentioned in another thread, not complaining that you hadn't checked.

i think he's a hemaphrodite. album makes you think about growing up like that. how confusing it must be for a kid. its a genuinely painful album to listen to cos it stirs up real emotion and empathy. thats what makes it such a good listen. its thought-provoking without telling you what to think about.

that is a possibility, but not necessarily true... we don't know of course, if his lyrics really convey his innermost feelings... and he might feel like a lady, without having any of the female bodily characteristics...

have you read Jeffrey Eugenides' Middlesex, by the way? that's a great novel about a hermaphrodite, from the author of The Virgin Suicides

Antony's not a hermaphrodite, but he used to have the mathemetician and hermaphrodite Dr. Julias Yasuda as part of his entourage and live-act.

Btw, I've probably mentioned this elsewehere, but I've been very disappointed with "I am a Bird Now". Thought it was good at first, but it seems lacking in style or substance, it just doesn't compare with the debut.
