Question About covers!

I'm a new member of this great community!
I've got a big big desire in my life: I'm passionate of covers and would like to know if there are some collections of famous covers. When I look for "cover" on the Internet I generally find out results about "cover of cds" and not about "music, song remakes"!

Can someone help me?

Thankkkkkkkkkkkks!

Cat Power - The Covers Album is a great album. Her interpretations are very unique.

I think that every cover that GnR did on that record sucked sh!t through a straw. Knockin On Heaven's Door was terrible and so was Live And Let Die...brutal.

They did do a great job of Aerosmith's Mama Kin on GnR Lies.

not exactly. their last album, Sleeping With Ghosts, came out in a limited 2CD edition with the second cd being a compilation of all of their previosly released covers as well as a few new ones. some are really great, some not so much, but all interesting.

Tracklist:
Running Up That Hill (Kate Bush)*
Where Is My Mind (The Pixies)*
Bigmouth Strikes Again (The Smiths)*
Johnny And Mary (Robert Palmer)*
20th Century Boy (T-Rex)*
The Ballad Of Melody Nelson (Serge Gainsbourg)
Holocaust (Alex Chilton)*
I Feel You (Depeche Mode)*
Daddy Cool (Boney M)
Jackie (Sinead O' Connor)

*these are the cream of the crop
