I just purchased Ayler's "Music is the Healing Force of the Universe".
found it used in chicago.

At first account of hearsay on this release, I had heard that there was
a stronger push towards R&B/rock than his free-style collective improv
motif-style stuff from the 60's. What i found, for real, is one hell of an
album that seems to pull from many different sources, making it much
more listenable and approachable than some of his earlier releases.

I actually do like the vocals...very eerie, strong, and pronunciated!

I'm sure there are other posts from the past on this, but want to see
what cats are feeling on this release. any info on the recording itself
and who the females are?
