josh I think that you highly underrate Katto's solo effort. no morrissey album is nowhere near comparable with the queen is dead or meat is murder. same happens with ozzy osburne and black sabbath.

actually my fav Beefcake is - ¥003 + ¥024 + 2x = ¥727 and I know how lonely i am.

a1 from - ¥003 + ¥024 + 2x = ¥727 is one of the big reasons why i love this album so much

Exactly my point! Kattoo's disc, while good, is yet eclipsed by the same artist's previous work. (Yes, I know, Kattoo is Volker's solo work, but you get the idea)

I know it didn't make my top 5, per se, but it did make my list. It is a great release, nonetheless, I was just comparing the fact that if you come from a very successful or notorious group (i.e. Morrissey), it's sometimes tough to get out of the shadow of that. Most people know of Beefcake, and not Kattoo.

The beefcake release, I feel, isn't necessarily considered a complete album, but who am I to say. The just remastered the tracks from 2 vinyls and added 2 more tracks and put them on a cd. It is a good release, I have to give you that much
