Beastie Boys Take On Kfc

Aside from their love for music, the Beastie Boys are also involved in politics, and social issues such as animal rights. They wrote a letter to KFC to let them know how they feel about KFC and the animal cruelty that goes on there. They also told them they would make sure people hear about it. Go here to see their letter to KFC, and read what they had to say about KFC.

Bestie boys are absolute assholes when it comes to politics.

The Beastie Boys are irrelevent these days anyway. That 5 Boroughs album was terrible. They should try and figure out why everything went south after Check Your Head. I don't eat KFC anyway, but anyone who publicly aligns themselves with PETA has automatically lost credibility.

bono, green day, beastie boys and all the other pretentious dickheads in the music indutries should be shot, just because you're rich and famous doesn't change the fact that your political rants are uninformed bullshit, people!

Hating on the beastie boys?! Yes, they can be dickheads in real to what I've heard, But if it wasn't for them rap would just be 'gangsta', not to mention there like the only rap group now-a-days that play instruments. 'To the 5 boroughs' was a good album, 'Ch-check it out', 'Triple Trouble', 'Hey fuck you' all mad tracks! and the reason why the Beastie Boys wouldn't be as popualr as they use to is proabbly the huge gaps between albums, so people forgot about them. 'Hello Nasty' (1998) & 'To the 5 boroughs' (2004) were six years apart.

I am relatively new to their music become a fan late last year and still to check out that album, but you simply can't keep compairing a band always to their best work. Bands and people change you've got to except that and move on. Bands can't please everybody. Plus, I didn't mention this before but shouldn't this thread be in the rap forum?
