yeah check CocoRosie! I saw them live a few months ago, with Anthony & the Johnsons and they were ace! two wicked sisters with a harp, kid's synthesizers & taperecorder, guitar and piano... one sister with a sweet, nearly operatic but not irritating voice and the other with a cracking, Joanna-ish voice... wonderfully dreamy... they have just one record out
La Maison de Mon RĂªve, but it's wonderful...
Sandy Dillon is also worth checking out, I have two albums
Electric Chair and
Nobody's Sweetheart... the first one is rootsy and raw, the second one more pop-ish... I prefer the first one, but the second has some memorable moments as well...
