Question All time favorite albums?

Everyones got to have an all time favorite CD or LP that is almost worn out because it never stops playing. And there have got to be millions of timeless jazz albums that i'm sure I've never heard of. So please share.

Mine has got to be Mingus AH UM. But I'm always waiting to here a new one that can beat it out.

And what is it that makes a great album? whether it's jazz or pop or punk or folk. I guess if we new that, there would be fewer starving musicians.

I like some Charlie Parker, Mile Davis, Chet Baker and Louis Armstrong. they are nice and everything but nothing comes close to the soundtrack of Romeo Is Bleeding(with Gary Oldman, Juliet Lewis in the movie). I never heard any jazz music with this much emotion in it. Probably the darkest and saddest jazz album I have heard.

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.
