Ayla

I'm not a big electronic fan (I'm truly into metal), but I really like this trance artist called Ayla. Has anyone else heard of (her/him/them) before?

I remember hearing them/him/her/what? when I was a little kid and into pop music... back when trance was popular. Can't say I was impressed back then, but I don't know what I think of them now.

I like trance and darkwave the best of what electronic music I've heard. I haven't heard a lot, mind you; remember that I'm a metalhead, and truly know nothing about electronic music. A freind showed me a bunch of electronic music and had me tell him which songs I liked the best, and he told me my favorite was Trance. Another freind of mine gave me an Ayla CD and I really enjoyed itm so whatever Ayla is is my favorite type of electronica.

trance belongs in the glam metal genre.

If you like the song Liebe [club mix] [single mix] & [trance mix], maybe I can show you some nice trancey songs in that style. But as far as I know, Ayla is not pure trance. Pure trance is cheesy and stupid. Ayla's music is more atmospheric and doesn't sound like it's been composed with a random sequencer.

Alright. You see, I know nothing . I did like Liebe, along with For an Angel, Ayla pt. I and II, and Angelfall. I'd love to hear some more stuff similar to Ayla, so if anyone has suggestions, that'd be nice.

the first thing that comes to my mind (I don't really know why) is Niels Van Gogh (try "Pulverturm" first). Give it a try and if you don't like it, maybe I'll be able to refine the search.

All right. Thank you very much.

And I take it "Pulverturm" is the song.

"Pulverturm" is good. If you like vocals...

Then you should try "Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar 98 [Three 'N One Remix]" (see the discogs release page link here) ...
