Review music...

There is a site called GarageBand.com where you can review music for leisure or you can review music to earn 'upload credits' so that you can upload your own songs and get reviews.

I have run into a few great songwriters there...although there is a fair share of chaff too...like anyplace else...

One spectacular song that I ran into was this one called Dreamcatcher from a Scottish band called Fools Circle. Man...this song is really something else.

I couldn't find any information on these "upload credits" you speak of...only 3 options that all involve payments. Anyway you can link me to a section of the site that gives a little more info on it? Other then that I think it's pretty well done and I'll definitely be spending some time there.

In the first of the three options it says UPLOAD CREDIT (you are only charged if you click on the 'buy now' button)...the review must be at least 15 words to apply towards an upload credit...instead of the 'buy now' tab go to the bottom and click on 'GO'...after you have completed your first 'review pair' then you will see that the number of 'review pairs' that have to be completed has dropped by one. It takes a significant amount of reviewing to get an upload credit but that should keep out a lot of people who just want to slap their music up and leave. It promotes a more active and involved community...not perfect but active...

I can't remember...I also use the 'artist name' Vert Keernay a lot...
The only downfall of the site is that there does seem to be a great number of people there who are very critical of others' music and songwriting yet have obviosly NOT applied their own critical process to their own 'work'...I think you'll probably see what I mean. It does seem to be a valuable community there though.
