Arrow Best virtual piano?

Here's the problem : I've been looking for a realistic piano emulation for ages.
I have a lot of decent soundfonts (sf2 files) but none is really perfect.

What do you use as a virtual piano? Sampler? Soundfont? Specific software?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

Thanks, I'll give it a try someday. Indeed, I've been told that it's a decent one!

go to a music store prepared

a buddy of mine had a pocket recorder with a 1/4 inch input jack. I'd go to music stores with him, he'd find a piece of equipment with a sound he liked, and plug his little recorder into it while I distracted employees with annoying questions or wretched violin attempts. They wouldn't notice that he was stealing sounds from them. He'd hit as many notes in succession as possible and later loaded them into his computer to play with. The only problem he ever had was that his recordings sounded a little tinny since they were recorded with a pocket recorder. A small, battery powered sampler would work better, just use what you can.

I use the EastWest Boesendorfer 290 and it sound great. You need a pretty stout computer for it, though...
