Legendary Pink Dots
I just heard the, "Crushed Velvet Apocalypse" album, and I must say, I really enjoyed it. Reminded me of both The Residents and Current 93 at times. I like their style of composition, the different elements compliment each other very well; and it's certainly cool to hear a saxophone. Nice use of percussion as well; almost groovy.
Thoughts? Suggestions for other releases? I also have their, "Four Days" but haven't got around to it yet.

Cage Fanatic is the undisputed LPD expert around here, but I've not seen him on the site for a while. Personally, I think LPD are probably the most consistent band ever, they've never released a truly bad album, as far as I'm aware, there's just some that aren't as interesting as others.
My recommendations:
Asylum
Faces in the Fire (EP)
The Maria Dimension
The Lovers
Shadow Weaver
Nemesis Online
All the King's Horses
