Well it wasnt as good as BOBS but it wasn't bad either. It had better guitar driven songs then BOBS did. All in all it's a nice listen and most definatly a good mood setter for some phys ed in the bed

no no no. dont slam this album. its definitely not as good as BOBS but it definitely has its moments. i give it a very reluctant 3/5. i happen to regard mos def as the coolest person on the planet so it really pains me that the album was largely mediocre but to brand it as a "bad" album is terribly unfair. thats a word we reserve for everything master p has ever done or 50 cents monumentally useless "the massacre" or eminem's mind-bogglingly woeful "encore" or cassidy's first album. those are bad albums. not this one.

I loved Black On Both Sides but damn this was so far off I actually respected his originality and the way he experimented with rock & rap. Then again some songs are way to long and drag on. I give it a Grade: B-

BOBS is a snorefest so I will have to leave it to my imigination how crummy this record is.
