I apologise if someones already done this, but I just felt like I needed to bring these to attention. OK, so they've been around for a while - but it wasn't until their *new album, Mighty [Amazing piece of work!!!] that I really got into them. Before now they were just another one of my collection that were pretty good and I'd listen every now and then, but when I listened to the new album they REALLY stood out, and now they're one of my favourites.
I love the fact that there's next to none / no distortion in the entire album, but they still manage to give the songs a slight nudge in the ska-punk direction. It's also a small enough nudge to keep the fans of pure ska happy too. Lots of keyboards used alongside the guitars.
Two standout tracks:
Missionary's Downfall
Girl In The Front Row
* I say new album, it was 2003 but it was their latest one and I've only just got hold of it.
