I agree with Enchantra, I download to try but I have to love it to buy. It is nice to have actual cds sometimes rather than burned ones, or having to depend on my IPOD that I have to charge constantly for it to work for any length of time.

Download off of forums and then order it because cd stores only carry what they think they can sell.

Download
I generally download these days cos I'm bored of ripping cd's to my mac.
Usually I find new music through myspace or pure volume and download if not direct from those places then wherever the band directs me.............
I keep hearing this name libertunes.com recently, a couple of bands I saw play recently told me to buy their stuff off of it.
Anyone else heard of it?
Listened to prince with i wanna be your lover

eMusic. That's 90 songs a month... I also use SingingFish and Dogpile. Also gotten a ton from Epitonic. BetterPropaganda is good too, except epitonic and betterpropaganda only have like 1-3 songs by each artist.

Never CD stores anymore. I usually discover new artists at Pandora but end up downloading from iTunes.

I order at drunkabilly.com, or buy on gigs. Soulseek helps me once in awhile
