Andrew Hill & Art Pepper Fans

That means you Blah for the Andrew Hill.

Andrew Hill - most of this, is made up of material being released for the first time.

Art Pepper - personally this is the one that interests me.

Blah, I saw Hill last week, and I won't mention what he had to say about your Monk post.

Hold everything. I just read the fine print. It appears Ron "I'm deaf and just play with the knobs on the console" McMaster, did the remastering on the Art Pepper set.

That really makes me angry. I don't know why Blue Note/Mosaic uses that deaf hack.

I am going to hold off until I get some feedback on others who pick it up. So, for now it's only the Hill, which I am picking up. That's being remastered by Malcom "The Man" Addey.

If it were up to me, Addey would be doing all the remasters and that includes the RVG series.

I wont get into, what I think of one Rudy Van Gelder.

Blah, first off, I only tease/joke around with those I like.

And I did throw in a and after that sentence.

Yes, I saw Hill in Baltimore, and yes I talked to him. Most jazz musicians will hang around and talk. Those that have the time, will even go out to dinner or drinks. Especially if you're paying.
