That's odd...The Wall is the best album ever recorded in my opinion.

Slayer - Reign in Blood, it's neither the best thrash metal album ever nor is it even Slayer's best album, but the way people harp on about it sometimes...

Not the best in my opinion, but really damn good.

I will add Up to Here by The Tragically Hip. Good album, but in a lower league than Day for Night, Fully Completely, or even Road Apples.

I think it's very good, don't get me wrong, but I think that Slayer's other work is better. I might be the only person who thinks this but I would place it below Seasons in the Abyss and Show no Mercy, possibly even marginally below South of Heaven. I just think the tracks bar the opener and closer aren't very memorable, and the songwriting on Show No Mercy and Seasons in the Abyss is better.

Thrash albums I prefer for example would be Dark Angel's Darkness Descends, Sodom's Agent Orange and Kreator's Pleasure to Kill.

first, let me say that Jeff Buckley's Grace is so far from being overrated that icant see how anyone could ever think so. so many people still dont even no it exists- how could it possibly be overrated? sure, if you talk to the biggest Jeff Buckley fan of all-time they might overstate the album's excellence [if thats possible...], but in a large objective sense it is an album that is severely underrated, underappreciated and overlooked. albums like Pet Sounds, The Wall, What's Going On, Nevermind and OK Computer will get slagged for being overrated from time to time and fair enough because these albums hav recieve such wide and enthusiatic praise that its hard for them to live up to the hype for everyone, but Grace is definitely not overrated.

Metallica's black album, Metallica is overrated. "Unforgiven" and "Nothing Else Matters" are extremely good songs, but the rest of the album is a painful dirge of depressing filler.

People on this forum mention this album because its his best album. I don't really think its really overrated... just mentioned as his best works.
