they have a bar upstairs that requires ID to purchase drinks...so they do serve drinks and still have all-ages shows. Sometimes though the bar won't be opened until the first show is over and before the 'late' show starts...I'll have to look into it.

If I had to be 21, Im either getting a fake ID, gonna kill the bouncer, or just sneak in.
I will see Autechre live no matter what!!!!

But yeah, were most likely gonna go see them in Chicago so that would be tight.

for me autechre are among the most influential people in my life as a music listener and amateur producer

a good friend whose criteria i highly respect, saw them in NY in 2001, he told me it sucked but his reasons where not convincing. he didn't like the darkness and no computer visuals, and he was concerned about the other people's reaction.

i don't care i will do my best to be there. if someone in the forum will see them in orlando/miami, let me know so we can exchange thoughts and maybe have some booze after the gig.

I do reside in the high Mojave Desert, Yucca Valley. (Elevation-3,279) I have to go down the hill for Autechre. It's only around a 2 hours drive away.

I know, I was only looking for an excuse, to break out the Single Malt.
