I don't really know what to put in the report, why don't you guys just ask me questions aobut the performance for now.

Haven't you ever written a book report/term paper? It's basically the same concept. Just report the events & details and your impressions.

Unlike Seba's, I mean mystery man's post, it doesn't need to be 3 pages long, 2 pages will be fine.

"Last night was my first concert, I saw Cecil Taylor at the Iridium jazz club in Manhattan. I went with my parents, and it was incredible. Tons of energy in the performance, Cecil was sweating quite a bit when I MET HIM AFTERWARD! And of course, I was/am 14."



Ok, now this makes it more interesting, and a 7-page report, is now mandatory!.

come on geryon, you're 14, I'm sure you had to write a lot of reports, you can do it! I'd really love to read it myself! Seems like you had an amazing night, I'm sad I wasn't there.

Hey, there is no rush, he still has 7 posts, not that I am trying to rush him or effect the RM office pool, but YO!

I did thank my parents quite alot, and by the way Satch, I see that oyu are visiting my site. WHY DON'T YOU POST? I think I will post my report as soon as you grace my site with your presence again.

Two points:


1. I don’t know if you have noticed, but a great deal of those posting on your site ummm are not exactly interesting enough to respond to, would be the nice way of saying it.


2. Using ultimatums on Satchmo does not work. I have seen Cecil around 30 times, including 4 days with that Big Band last year, for his 75th Birthday. So, I know what it’s like, seeing Cecil in multiple variations. I have also talked to and had dinner with him. He knows who Satchmo happens to be.

So, it’s not the end of the world for me, if you don’t want to share with the others, your experience. I get the feeling, you're just trying to find any excuse, to avoid having to write that report.

Still peering around my site for some info Satch? And now you are looking at this thread! I bet you got your hopes up! You probably thought, "Oh goodie Geryon must have finally posted that report that we are all dying to see, I better click the link and...DAMN!" Haha!
